How do the plans differ?+
Only in the monthly authorization allowance and the per-authorization overage price. Every plan includes the exact same platform — all AI workflows, unlimited team members, white-label, and dedicated support. Pick the volume that fits and upgrade or downgrade any time.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?+
Yes - a card is required to activate your 7-day free trial, but we never charge during the trial period. The first charge runs on day 8, and you can cancel any time before then from the in-app billing settings.
Is there a setup fee?+
No setup fees, no per-user fees, no implementation invoices. The price you see is the price you pay.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes. Plan changes are instant from the in-app Billing settings. Prorations are handled automatically.
Is Authora HIPAA compliant?+
Yes. Every organization receives a signed Business Associate Agreement during sign-up, and all PHI is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never train external models on your data.
What happens if I exceed my plan's included SARs?+
Nothing stops. Every plan includes a monthly SAR allowance (20 on Professional, 50 on Scale, 180 on Enterprise); additional SARs are simply billed per form at your plan's overage rate ($6, $5, or $4 per SAR). Usage is tracked per clinic and itemized on your invoice.
